The drawing is finally completed! I couldn't tell you how many hours is in this, but there has to be a fair few. I've watched quite a few films and episodes of Law and Order: SVU let me tell you.

Of course I am sick to death of it by now. I want to transfer it into an embroidery, but I am aware that it will become quite a different piece because of it. I want to use colour, and feel that the shading will need to be pared down, if not disposed of alltogether.

I really enjoyed doing this drawing, hopefully it will be part of a set when I have finished. I'm hoping other people like them too - it would be nice if they became saleable. Maybe drawings are more marketable than embroideries? I hate to look at it that way but the truth is I need to find more ways of making a living from my artwork. I know now that I can't fall back on teaching now that much is true!
